The reason your coworkers and you don't run into this on employer-provided computers is that your IT organization added the interceptor's CA to the list of trusted CA's before it. Your Chrome, however, will never have heard of the CA the interceptor - what's this country of Transpacifica you claim to be from? - and will reject the certificate. Open Internet Explorer or Chrome, and download the certificate file by navigating to .us.crt. This process will install the SSL certificate for both browsers. A box pops up showing information about the certificate. In the box that pops up, click the Connection tab. (Edited 2/10/17: I have added a more up-to-date answer in a comment: How to Export Certificate from Chrome on a Mac?) Click the icon to the left of the URL. In order for your machine to recognize your CAC certificates and DoD websites as trusted, the installer will load the DoD CA certificates on OS X. Download and install the OS X Smartcard Services package The OS X Smartcard Services Package allows a Mac to read and communicate with a smart card.
